Introduction

FARRA respects your privacy and aims to handle personal information fairly, transparently and securely in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements in the United Arab Emirates, including the UAE Personal Data Protection framework where it applies.

This policy applies to information connected with this website and enquiries made using the contact details provided on it. It does not govern the independent privacy practices of external websites or communication services.

If you contact FARRA directly, we may receive the information contained in your message, any attachments you send, and related communication details.

Technical information that may be received

When you access the website, hosting and network infrastructure may receive ordinary technical request information such as an IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps, referrer information and diagnostic or security logs.

FARRA has not implemented custom analytics events for form submissions or other interactions.

How information is used

Where FARRA receives personal information, it may be used to:

Consent and lawful processing

FARRA processes personal information with consent where consent is the appropriate basis. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, information may also be processed to respond to your request, take steps you ask us to take before entering a service agreement, perform an accepted agreement, comply with a legal obligation, protect rights and interests, or pursue legitimate business purposes permitted by law.

Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent by contacting FARRA. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully before it was withdrawn.

When information may be shared

FARRA may share relevant information only where reasonably necessary with:

  • personnel, contractors or professional advisers supporting an enquiry or service;
  • technology, hosting and communications providers used to operate the website or communicate with you;

International data transfers

Some technology or communication providers may process information outside the United Arab Emirates. Where a cross-border transfer of personal information is relevant, FARRA will seek to use appropriate protections and handle the transfer in accordance with applicable UAE data-protection requirements.

Data retention

FARRA retains personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was received, to maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, or meet legal and regulatory requirements. Retention periods depend on the nature of the enquiry, any resulting service relationship and applicable obligations.

Website enquiries and uploaded materials are handled for as long as reasonably needed to respond to the enquiry. Information sent directly through email or an external messaging service may remain in those communication systems until it is no longer reasonably required.

Data security

FARRA takes reasonable administrative and technical steps appropriate to the information and the way it is handled. However, no website, electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through ordinary email or messaging services.
